The Real Mike Wilson - Michael E. Wilson Jr.
The Real Mike Wilson is a rapper, writer, poet, and producer from New York City, whose music provides “a person the chance to hear the growth of a person matched with the growth of musical skills.” With over a decade of experience, Mike has performed hip-hop and poetry throughout the tri-state area as well as hosted poetry, hip-hop, and nerd events.
Mike has also provided his sound engineering expertise at Woodhaven House in Queens and The Red Lion in West Village. He published Faces, a collection of short stories and poems, in 2021.
He published Never Settle, a captivating hip-hop EP, in 2022 that explored depression, job loss, dating, and career goals. In Lieu of... was released in June of 2023. It explores freedom, love, and letting go. Listen here!
