Mike Wilson
The Books
The Wonderful Life of Mr. Silverlinning is Mike's second novel, and a clear evolution of his writing style with two short stories. We find Andrew as he pursues his work crush in a call-center somewhere deep and Brooklyn Navy Yard in the Thespians And Love. Friendship is hard for Andrew to define in the title story, as Andrew's life seems to fall apart. The Wonderful Life Of Mr. Silverlinning is a reflection we share, through characters unique to Mike.

Mike's debut novel captures the struggles of a 20 something navigating adulthood. From university drug dealers to corporate calamity, Faces uncovers the range of young adult angst. Each story is inspired by real events. The doctor who asked Mike for advice on a train ride during the NYC lockdown and the unfaithful hostel co-host are real people that left an impression on the author and inspired this book. Faces is relatable and honest, with more than a sprinkle of humor.
